Are you planning to go with your family for a vacation? If so you should consider to take them on a Caribbean cruise ship. It will be a great experience for the entire family.
Everyone in the family will enjoy a vacation on a cruise ship, adults as well as the kids.
There are lots of activities for the whole family to enjoy onboard. Most ships are very suitable for children, and there are plenty of nice things to do for the kids onboard. If you want some time alone there are supervisors to help out with the activities for the children between 2 and 15 years old, so it won’t be a problem to spend some time alone, and have some quality time with your loved one.
It’s not necessary to bring a heavy packing when you go with one of the cruises. You can travel with minimal waste since most of the things you might need are available on the ship.
The most important things for you to bring is some clothes and some good shoes and for the children some clothes to wear while swimming and some clothes.
What do you need to bring on your Caribbean cruise?
It’s important to bring medicine if any of your family members are on medication. Be sure to bring all the medicine that will be needed during the time you’ll be away from home. Some of the more conventional medicine might be able to buy onboard, but there isn’t any guarantee that your medication will be available. It’s essential that you don’t take any chances when it comes to this.
It’s possible that you will have to fill in a form regarding the medications you and your family members are on, and your health condition. Be sure, to be honest when you fill in this form.
Is there a doctor onboard in case of emergencies?
There is medical staff with a physician and a nurse onboard the Caribbean cruise ship. You can reach those 24 hours, so you don’t have to hesitate to contact them if you don’t feel well, or if any member of your family gets sick. Motion sickness is the most common illness treated on board a cruise ship.
The medical services are not included in your cruise though, so the costs for the doctor and the nurses will be charged a separate fee. I would imagine that is going to be rather expensive!
